Westport Triathlon
The Westport Triathlon takes place on 15 August 2026 in Westport, Co. Mayo. The event is part of the Triathlon National Series and uses routes around Croagh Patrick, Clew Bay and the Westport Greenway.
Two race options are offered:
- Olympic distance: 1500 m swim, 40 km cycle, 10 km run, 51.5 km total.
- Super Sprint: 400 m swim, 20 km cycle, 5 km run, 25.4 km total.
Swims take place in Clew Bay. The cycle legs are out and back toward Croagh Patrick. Runs follow the Westport Greenway.
Entry fees listed by the organiser are €80 individual and €120 relay for the Olympic distance, and €60 individual and €90 relay for the Super Sprint. Route downloads are noted as coming soon.
