Westover Run the Runway 2026
Westover Run the Runway takes place at Westover Metropolitan Airport and uses a flat, paved course that crosses into an operational federal military area. The race begins and ends on the civilian side of the airport. The event includes both in person and virtual participation options.

In person registration opens February 8 and closes September 27. Virtual registration opens February 8 and closes October 2. The stated registration fee is $35.00. Registering by September 1 secures a race T-shirt and the registration fee increases after that date.
Security procedures are part of the event. Pre-run vetting is mandatory and Real ID type identification is required for access to the military area. A key and bag check will be available. Wheelchairs and strollers are permitted; wheelchair and stroller users are asked to plan for early arrival to complete clearance. Pets are not allowed.
Proceeds are designated for the Westover Galaxy Community Council to support Westover military families and to help launch the 2027 Great New England Air Show. A charity car show will take place on the other side of the airport featuring cars, music, food trucks and raffles. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
