The Dave Jones Prom Run Series
The Dave Jones Prom Run Series is a nine-race sequence of five mile runs held along the Weston-super-Mare promenade, each race covering two laps of the promenade. A monthly one mile event for children accompanies the adults' race; the junior races are for children in reception to year 11 (ages four to sixteen).

Races are chip timed and staged under UKA competition rules. Medical cover is provided and the course measurement has been certified by a UKA-approved measurer. Results appear on Power of 10 and the series holds a UKA race licence for 2026/27.
Race headquarters and facilities are at Revo, Marine Parade, Weston-super-Mare BS23 1BE. Paid parking is available along Marine Parade. Refreshments and toilets are available at Race HQ; there are no changing or shower facilities.
Entry options include the complete nine-race series or individual race entries. Entry fees differ for UKA affiliated and non-affiliated runners and a separate junior entry fee applies. Entries for the senior race close at 9pm on the Tuesday before each race; junior entries close at 5pm on the Wednesday before each race.
Prizes are awarded per race and for the series across senior, veteran and junior categories. Team competition scoring uses the first eight races and teams must be entered by 22/10.
