Western Springs Tower Trot
The Western Springs Tower Trot is a multi-event community race held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, with the start and finish located at the Grand Avenue Community Center, 4211 Grand Ave, Western Springs, IL.
Distances offered include:
- 5K - 3.1 miles (walk and run)
- 10K - 6.2 miles
- Double - 9.31 miles (10K followed by 5K)
- Fun Run - under 1 mile, for age 9 and under
Registration is required and includes a t-shirt and refreshments. Entry fees vary by event, resident status, and registration date; pre-registration examples listed are: 5K Walk $35 resident/$40 non-resident, 10K $40 resident/$45 non-resident, The Double $45, Fun Run $15. Registration prices increase by $5 after May 10, 2026, and online registration is available until 15 minutes prior to each start.
Race timing and scoring are handled by J3 Timing and live results will be posted during the event. Course maps are provided for the 5K, 10K, and Fun Run. The Fun Run starts at Chestnut and Grand and finishes at the official finish line on Lawn Ave. For Double participants the 10K finishes on Lawn Ave; runners cross the 10K timing pad then proceed through the parking lot to the 5K start on Grand Ave. Double participants receive a long sleeve shirt instead of a short sleeve shirt.
Race packets and shirts may be picked up prior to race day at the Grand Avenue Community Center on Friday, May 22, and on race day at the same location. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
