Overview
The Western Springs Tower Trot is a multi-event community race held at the Grand Avenue Community Center in Western Springs, Illinois. The event features several distance options for participants.
Available Events
Participants can choose from the following events, with separate pricing for residents and non-residents:
- 10K run
- 5K run
- 5K walk
- The Double (completing both the 10K and 5K runs)
- Fun Run for children aged 9 and under (less than one mile)
Event Details
Registration includes a t-shirt and post-race refreshments. Participants in The Double event receive a long-sleeve shirt. The race is professionally timed and scored. Awards are based on CARA age categories.
The start and finish for the main events is at the Grand Avenue Community Center (4211 Grand Ave). The children's Fun Run starts at the intersection of Chestnut and Grand and finishes at the official finish line on Lawn Avenue.
