Wessagusset 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run : 8th Annual
The Wessagusset 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run is scheduled for May 31, 2026 at O'Sullivan Field in Weymouth, Massachusetts. The event is organized as a community activity that raises funds for educational opportunities and enrichment programs for Wessagusset students.

A family rate of $75 is available for families of four or more through May 30, 2026. T shirts will be provided to the first 200 registered participants, and registration by April 30 guarantees a shirt.
Logistics note that participants receive numbered bibs containing timing chips; wearing the bib is required to be officially timed and scored. Parking is not allowed in the school lot on Pilgrim Road; parking is available in the public lot off North Street and volunteers will direct traffic in the morning. After the 5K, the North Weymouth Civic Association hosts Neighborhood Day, open to runners and spectators, featuring food, drinks, music and kid friendly activities.
