Werrington 10K
The Werrington 10K is an annual road race around the country lanes of Werrington, held on 11 October 2026 and organised by Trentham Running Club. Race headquarters are at Moorside High School, Werrington, ST9 0HP. Facilities at the Race HQ include a car park, toilets and changing rooms.
The main event is chip timed. Entrants can choose an option that includes a medal for the 10 km race. Prize categories include first to third male and female finishers, age categories, and team categories. There are prizes for first mens team and first ladies team with counting members specified, and a prize for anyone who breaks the course record in the form of a pair of Brooks running trainers. The event appears as race number 17 on the NSRRA calendar.
The organiser is keeping the event green by using paper cups and zero plastic bottles for water, providing bananas for runners, and encouraging car sharing and use of personal refillable water bottles.
A Fun Run is also scheduled on the school fields with a distance of approximately 1 km. The Fun Run will be chip timed and all Fun Run entrants will receive a medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
