Event Overview
The Lake Wenonah Tri/Aqua/Du is a multi-sport event featuring four disciplines: Triathlon, Duathlon, Aqua Bike, and Triathlon Relay.
Distances
The event offers different distances for each format:
- Triathlon: 0.25-mile swim, 12-mile bike, and a 5k run.
- Duathlon: 2-mile run, 12-mile bike, and a 5k run.
- Aqua Bike: 0.25-mile swim and a 12-mile bike.
- Triathlon Relay: Teams compete the triathlon distances.
Location & Course
The event takes place at Wenonah Lake in Wenonah, New Jersey. The swim portion occurs in a cedar lake. The run courses use the quiet streets of the town of Wenonah.
Awards
Awards are given across multiple divisions for the triathlon and duathlon events, including overall, age group, Clydesdale/Athena (based on weight), and a Physically Challenged/Intellectual Disability Open division. Awards may vary based on attendance. For the Aqua Bike event, awards are given to the top five overall male and female individuals.
Series Affiliation
This event is part of the DQ Events Grand Prix and DQ Events Club Challenge. Participants can earn points for overall placement, age group placement, and finishing.
Regulations
The event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon (USAT). All participants must have a valid USAT membership and follow USAT rules. The event is open to participants aged 12 and older. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
