Wendy's Walk/Run for Hope
Wendy's Walk/Run for Hope is a community 5K event held in Jewett, Ohio on October 10, 2026. The course uses the Conotton Creek Trail and is described as a flat, fast route on a rails-to-trails path. The event is open to both runners and walkers, including competitive and recreational participants.
Proceeds are used to help offset expenses for men and women diagnosed with breast cancer. The event began in 2012 as a local 5K and has grown to include additional on-site activities such as food vendors, a car show, and a quarter auction.
Participants may choose a shirt or a no-shirt option; adult shirt sizes run from small to extra large, and entries received before October 1 are guaranteed a T-shirt. Awards are given for the 5K run/walk and the competitive walk, including top three male and female overall and top finishers by age group in standard age brackets through 70 and over.
