Welwyn 10K at Panshanger Park
Garden City Runners host the Welwyn 10K on Sunday 21 June 2026 at Panshanger Park. The event returns in its trail format for a fourth year at this park and is held as a single lap, fully off road route.
The course follows established trails and paths through parkland and passes several park landmarks, including the 500 year old oak, the newly planted 17,000 tree Queen’s Wood, the historic Orangery and sections beside the chalk stream of the Mimram River. The route is supported and uses electronic chip timing.
Entry categories and fees include an Early Bird rate of £20 available until 31 March, a Standard entry of £23 and a childrens race at £3. Affiliated runner discounts are available. Entries remain open until 21 June 2026 or until capacity is reached.
A Family Fun Run takes place on the same day with an entry fee of £3; entries for this event also close on 21 June or earlier if sold out. Included for 10K entrants are a sustainable finisher’s medal and a digital finisher’s certificate. The event is part of the Welwyn Festival and proceeds are donated to local charities supporting Welwyn Garden City and wider Hertfordshire. Parking is available on site.
