Wellsville Founders Day Fun Run
The Wellsville Founders Day Fun Run is a community road race that serves as the unofficial kickoff to Wellsville’s Founders Day celebration. The event is scheduled for Monday September 7, 2026, and the race has been held for nearly 50 years with around 500 runners participating.
Available distances include:
- 5K
- 10K
- Kids K (Kids Mile)
Races start and finish near the Wellsville City Tabernacle at 100 E 100 S in Wellsville, Utah. Course maps are provided for participants. Ample parking is available near the venue; participants are asked not to park on 100 East between Main Street and 100 South.
Registration fees and deadlines for the 5K and 10K are listed as follows: $13.00 through August 24 includes a shirt, and $15.00 from August 25 through September 6 includes a shirt. The Kids K is $3 without a shirt or $15 with a shirt. Race day registration is available the morning of the race at a higher fee of $20 for the 5K and 10K; Kids K pricing remains the same.
