We Run Bayview 5K
We Run Bayview 5K is a community road race held at Candlestick Point State Recreation Area in San Francisco. The course follows Third Street through Bayview Hunters Point and finishes at the District 10 Health Fest at the Southeast Community Center on October 17, 2026.
The course is a point to point route starting at Candlestick Point and moving along historic Third Street to the finish at the health festival. Free shuttles run from the finish back to Candlestick Point. Each registered participant receives a meal voucher redeemable at participating local businesses along the Third Street corridor.
Proceeds from the event support the launch of a Healthy Food Bank initiative to improve access to fresh food and wellness resources for Bayview residents. The race also connects participants with local organizations and community health resources as part of the District 10 Health Fest.

Candlestick Point State Recreation Area has a history of community reclamation and was designated as a state park in the 1970s after local efforts converted previously neglected land into recreational space.
