We Run As One : 2nd Annual Color Run
We Run As One is a community color run held on May 30, 2026, at 8514 OH-108, Wauseon, Ohio. The event is organized by the Youth Advisory Council and is presented as a family-focused gathering that aims to increase connection among local youth and community members.
The activity format centers on a noncompetitive, untimed 1 mile color run with separate registration categories for adults (ages 18 and up) and youth (ages 5 to 17). The event description notes free family games, activities, vendor tables, and community resource booths on site. Food trucks and selected vendors may be present.
The event emphasizes youth mental health and social connection, with a focus on supporting students transitioning from 8th to 9th grade. It is described as substance-free, inclusive, and welcoming to all participants regardless of age, ability, or background. Registration fees are listed for the run and for vendor participation; fees are non-refundable in case of cancellation.
Colored corn starch will be thrown during the run. The organizer advises that the color can be an irritant to eyes and the respiratory system and recommends precautions for people with breathing conditions and for pregnant individuals. Strollers are allowed but should start toward the rear of the group to reduce trip hazards. Pets other than service animals are not permitted. Children ages 5 through 10 must be physically accompanied by an adult during the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
