We Love Teachers 5K : Houston
The We Love Teachers 5K in Houston is a local leg of a nationwide series held on October 10, 2026 at Rob Fleming Park in The Woodlands (6055 Creekside Forest Dr, Spring, TX 77389). The event offers both in-person and virtual 5K options and includes dedicated entries for educators and participants under 18.
Participants receive an official event shirt, a finisher medal, an official race bib, and a chip-timed race experience. Race results are available locally and on a national leaderboard in real time. Each participant can dedicate their run to a specific teacher; the named teacher receives a personal digital certificate of appreciation. School teams can register and compete on a National School Spirit Leaderboard, with virtual participants counting toward a school's total.
Award categories include overall male and female, and top three male and female finishers within age groups 14 and under, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, and 60+. New awards for the year include Most School Spirit, Fastest Teacher (male and female), Team Champion with a minimum team size of four, and a Legacy Award for the best parent-child duo time.
