Mill Chill 4M

Course and distances
The Four Mile starts and finishes at The Rocky Mount Mills and passes through Rocky Mount's Battle Park. The course runs parallel to the Tar River and, shortly before the halfway point, crosses the river over a wooden suspension bridge that was once the longest of its kind in the United States.

The 1.5 Mile Fun Run and Walk begins with the Four Mile race and turns around shortly after entering the park.
