Wayzata Boo Bash Dash
The Wayzata Boo Bash Dash is an annual Halloween themed running event in downtown Wayzata. The event features timed road races and a family fun run that use streets and the waterfront area.
Distances offered include:
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 1 mile
- Family fun run
The 5 km includes awards for top finishers. The Competitive Lake Street Mile runs straight down Wayzata waterfront and registered racers may compete for purse money. A Pumpkin Derby invites entries for homemade pumpkin racers with prizes for the fastest and the most creative; the derby starts near Hotel Landing at the Great Lawn Stage.
Pre race and post race activities take place at The Great Lawn at The Promenade. Costumes are encouraged and the schedule includes multiple community oriented activities in addition to the timed races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
