Way Too Cool 50K & 10 Mile Endurance Runs 2027
The event takes place in Cool, California on March 6, 2027 and is presented as the 37th annual running of the Way Too Cool trail races. Two course options are offered:
- 50K trail race
- 10 mile trail run
Both courses run on natural trails with rolling hills, creek crossings where feet may get wet, and varied terrain typical of Northern California. The 10 mile distance is described as a newer addition to the event program.
Race services include well stocked aid stations, experienced volunteers, professional timing and results, and on-course nutrition such as energy gels and hydration. The event also offers a post race gathering with food options including a signature homemade frog cupcake, Nadia's Mac Shack, and beverages plus a beer garden for participants 21 and over.
Standard race entry items listed for participants include a California State parking pass valid for race day, a goody swag bag, a technical race shirt, and a handcrafted finisher medallion. Packet pickup is available before race day and on race day. Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable; an optional refund protection program is available for an additional fee.
