Watsontown JesVic 5K
The Watsontown JesVic 5K is a community road running event held on June 6, 2026 at 1125 Main Street, Watsontwon, PA 17777. The program includes a main 3.1 mile race and a 0.5 mile children's race on school grounds.
Registration opens January 4, 2026 and closes June 1, 2026. Registration fees are $20.00 for the 5k and $15.00 for the kids race. Pre registering guarantees a goodie bag and a race t shirt for registrants.
The children's half mile is a lap around the Watsontown Elementary grounds. Pacers and parents are welcome to join the kids race. That race is chip timed and takes place after the 5k.
The event began in 2007 to honor two community members who died from cancer. Funds raised support local families with members facing disease and struggling with resulting medical bills. In its first 15 years the 5k raised more than $60,000 with the support of sponsor businesses, donations, volunteers, runners, walkers, spectators and friends.
