Waterside Half Marathon 2026
The 43rd Waterside Half Marathon takes place on 6 September 2026 in Derry with start and finish at Ebrington Square. The event returns to the streets, parks and river paths of the city.
The course runs across the river to the cityside and passes parks, greenways and bridges. The route is described as a cross-river course that begins and ends in Ebrington Square and highlights several local landmarks and riverside sections.
Race services included with entry are chip timing, a finisher's medal, a finisher's T-shirt, a fully marshalled course, bag drop facilities, water stations and First Aid stations. The event offers both individual half marathon entries and a 3 person relay option. Entry prices shown include an individual entry at £28 plus fee and a 3 person relay at £73 plus fee.
Age rules state that all half marathon entrants must be aged 17 or over on race day and all relay entrants must be aged 15 or over on race day.
