About the race
The Knysna Waterfront Half Marathon is an in-person road running event held at Knysna Waterfront, Knysna, Western Cape on 14 November 2026. The event is organised by the Knysna Marathon Club and uses chip timing; a loan chip is provided to most participants and must be returned at race end. Results are not produced for runners without a chip.

- 21.1 km
- 10 km
- 5 km
Routes: the 5 km and 10 km are out-and-back along the water’s edge on a brick paved route. The 21.1 km course runs from the Waterfront to Leisure Isle and Coney Glen and back. Distance markers are placed at every kilometre. Drinking and sponging stations are provided around 2.5 km to 3 km and refreshments are available at the start and finish. First aid is available at the venue and along the route.
Entry and fees: online and manual entry options are available with published entry fees for each distance and an online processing fee. No race day entries are accepted; race number collection is managed before race day for temporary and out-of-province runners. No refunds.
Race rules include ASA and ASWD regulations. No earphones, animals, push carts, or seconding from cyclists or vehicles are allowed. Cut-off times apply for each distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
