Event Overview
The 70th Annual Water Festival 5k-10K will be held in Port Royal, South Carolina. The event includes a 5K run/walk and a 10K run.
Location and Course
The races start at Live Oak Park. The course is flat and takes participants past moss-draped live oak trees with views of the Intracoastal Waterway. It is a USATF certified course (certification #SC18011DW).
Registration and Fees
Registration fees are $20 for the 5K and $25 for the 10K. Day-of-race (walk-up) registration is available at a higher fee. Packet pickup and walk-up registration begin on the morning of the event at Live Oak Park. A t-shirt is guaranteed for participants who register by a specified date in April; later registrations do not have a guaranteed shirt.
Awards and Additional Information
Awards are given to the overall male and female finishers and to the top three in each age division. The event has a Star Wars theme, with costume contests and trophies for best costumes.
