Washington Running Club - Bottoms Up Cup

Washington Running Club stages an annual 5 km race through Princess Anne Park in the centre of Washington. The event takes place on 2 July 2026 and is organised from St Robert Of Newminster School, Fatfield, NE38 8AF, where parking is available.

The course uses a mix of pavement and some trail sections and includes a number of hills. Road shoes are suitable for most of the route. The course has been adjusted over time to reduce congestion and improve flow.
