Washburn Rural Back to School 5k
The Washburn Rural Back to School 5k is hosted by the Washburn Rural High School boys and girls cross country teams. The event invites students, teachers, staff, parents and community members to mark the start of the 2026 school year by running or walking a 5k.
The course begins outside the gate at the south entrance of the track. Participants complete two loops on the Washburn Rural High School campus and finish on the Track.
This is the sixth annual edition of the event. All proceeds benefit the Washburn Rural High School cross country teams.
