The Skyline Scramble is scheduled for March 7, 2026, at Skyline Park in Topeka, Kansas (3511 SW Skyline Pkwy). The event offers three timed race blocks:
- 12-hour
- 6-hour
- 3-hour
Registration closes March 4, 2026. Early packet pickup is the day before the race at Fleet Feet. Packet pickup and check-in take place at Skyline Park on race day.
Course, rules and logistics
The course is a rugged single loop of about 2.15 miles with rocks, roots, and boardwalks. Each loop has about 250 feet of elevation gain and includes the high point at Burnett's Mound. The trail remains open to the public.
Key rules and logistics: crew and family may only assist at the start/finish aid station; no non-competitors or pacers are allowed on the course; trekking poles are permitted; runners may access their vehicles during the event and may use a designated personal-aid area at the start/finish. Laps completed after the official end time will not count. Participants must remain at the event until they notify race staff if they withdraw. Minimum age to enter is 18.
