Warwickshire Triathlon
The Warwickshire Triathlon takes place in Stratford-upon-Avon at Stratford Leisure Centre on Sunday 4 October 2026. Entry closes Tuesday 29 September at 9:00 am.
The event uses a heated indoor pool for the swim and a single 18 km flat cycle lap that travels into the Warwickshire countryside before returning to Stratford. The run follows a flat towpath alongside the River Avon and finishes at the Leisure and Visitor Centre beside the main transition area. The layout is spectator friendly with the main transition and finish at the rear of the leisure centre.
Race formats and distances include:
- Sprint: 400m swim, 18km cycle, 5km run
- Super Sprint: 200m swim, 18km cycle, 2.5km run
- Fun: 200m swim, 18km cycle, 2.5km run
- Sprint Relay: 400m swim, 18km cycle, 5km run
- CRUK Wave: 200m swim, 18km cycle, 2.5km run
- CRUK Relay: 200m swim, 18km cycle, 2.5km run
All competitors must count their own pool lengths and laps on bike and run. The event is electronically chip timed and awards an official finishers medal to entrants. It is compulsory to wear a cycle helmet on the bike section. Relay teams can consist of two or three people with the electronic chip passed between team members in the transition area.
