Warriors of Hope community run
The Warriors of Hope event is the second annual 5K and 1K community run held in memory of a woman who bravely fought gastric cancer and passed away in November 2023. The event takes place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Meyer Park in Spring, Texas.
The program includes in-person and virtual options and brings together runners, walkers, survivors, caregivers, and advocates to recognize those affected by stomach cancer. Distances offered:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- Kids 1K
- Virtual 5K (3.1 miles)
Shirts are included for the 5K, the virtual 5K, and the Kids 1K; preferred shirt sizes are not guaranteed after October 13, 2026. The event features a tribute to the honoree along with recognition for survivors and caregivers. Organizers will acknowledge top fundraisers with awards and naming of overall male and female fundraisers for each event.
Registration windows and fees differ by event. The in-person 5K and Kids 1K have an earlier registration close date, while the virtual 5K remains open later in the season. Participants may engage in peer to peer fundraising to support awareness and resources for the stomach cancer community. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
