13th Annual Warrior 5K Run
The 13th Annual Warrior 5K Run takes place on June 27, 2026 at Presque Isle Beach One in Erie, Pennsylvania. The event is organized by Embracing Our Veterans and is held rain or shine. After the costs of hosting the event, 100% of proceeds are used to support local veterans.
The course follows Presque Isle’s Beach One layout and is an out-and-back route covering a distance of 5K. The race is chip timed and results are posted online. Water, Gatorade and snacks are provided on race day. Registering at least 30 days before the event guarantees an event shirt, a bag and a reusable water bottle.
Registration can be completed online or in person on the day of the race. Entry fees are listed by category: ages 17 and below $15, ages 18 and over $30, family price for four to six members $75, and a larger groups rate for seven or more members $15. The event includes a Red White and Blue auction on race day and ties into America’s 250th anniversary; organizers suggest wearing red, white and blue for the celebration. Sponsorship opportunities may include placement of company logos on reusable water bottles, t-shirts and swag bags. Donations are accepted to support the organizing group and the veterans they serve.
