Kirksville Short Distance Triathlon
The Warehouse 660 TriFAHL, also known as Tri For A Healthy Life, is a sports event held in Kirksville, Missouri. This event is a short distance triathlon designed for participants of various experience levels. It is open to both individual competitors and relay teams.
The competition consists of three distinct segments:
- 150 Yard Pool Swim
- 9.3 Mile Bike Ride
- 2.35 Mile Run
The event starts at the Truman State University Natatorium with a snake-style swim in a 25-yard pool. During this phase, athletes begin individually several seconds apart. The cycling portion follows a two-loop course on the city streets of Kirksville. The final stage is a single-loop run that takes place primarily on sidewalks through and around the edge of the university campus.
Participants who complete their registration by April 5 receive a race shirt on the day of the event. Registrations made after this date result in the shirt being available for pickup at a later time from Warehouse 660. The final deadline for all race registrations is April 27.
