Ware Festival of Running
The Ware Festival of Running is a road and riverside running event taking place on Sunday 5th July 2026. The event includes adult races and children's races. Entry fees for adult runners are shown as £25 affiliated and £27 unaffiliated; adult finishers receive a T-shirt and a medal.

The course runs along the River Lee Navigation between Hertford and Ware with permission from the Canal & River Trust. The event holds a UKA Race Licence for 2026 (30307) and publishes results from previous years.
All money raised from the event is donated to the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance. The charity provides a free Helicopter Emergency Medical Service for Essex, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas and its operations cost more than £500,000 each month, which equates to just over £6 million per year.
The event lists a workplace challenge and names a range of local sponsors and partners, including Ware Town Council, local businesses and community organisations.
