Maumee River Fest
Maumee River Fest is the inaugural riverfront festival presented by the City of Maumee in partnership with community organizations and local sponsors. The event celebrates the region’s riverfront and the annual Walleye Run with activities for anglers and families focused on outdoor recreation and community connection.
The weekend program includes a premier fishing tournament hosted by Maumee Tackle, the Walleye Run presented by The Toledo Clinic, kids’ activities, and additional attractions designed for a range of ages.
Distances and runs:
- 5K Walleye Run starting in the heart of Uptown Maumee
- Wader Waddle quarter mile sprint in waders
- Minnow Run free kids run
The festival is set in Uptown Maumee, OH. Early packet pickup is available at Dave's Running Perrysburg on Friday, April 10, and race day packet pickup is available at Maumee Tackle on Saturday, April 11. Participants will receive an email the week of the event with packet pickup details and may collect packets for friends or family.
