Maumee River Fest
Maumee Riverfest is the City of Maumee's inaugural community festival celebrating the riverfront and the annual Walleye Run. The weekend program combines a fishing tournament hosted by Maumee Tackle with outdoor recreation and family-oriented activities held in Uptown Maumee, OH.
The festival includes organized runs and informal attractions. The Walleye Run 5k is presented by The Toledo Clinic and starts in the heart of Uptown Maumee. Additional running and youth events include a quarter mile Wader Waddle run in waders and a free Minnow Run for children. The program lists a kids run as part of the event categories.
Packet pickup is scheduled at two locations on the days before and the day of the festival: Dave's Running Perrysburg on April 10 and Maumee Tackle on April 11. Sponsors and community organizations are noted as partners in presenting the inaugural festival.
