Walking in Love 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run
The event takes place on June 13, 2026 at the Historic Eureka Trail, 1400 E Madison Ave, Athens, Tennessee. It includes two distances:
- 5K
- 1 Mile Fun Run
Registration opens April 17, 2026 and closes June 13, 2026. Registration fees listed are $35.00 for the 5K and $30.00 for the Fun Run. Packet pickup is scheduled on race day beginning at 7:30 AM at the Historic Eureka Trail. The course follows an out-and-back route that begins and ends at the head of the trail.
Awards will be presented to the top three male finishers and the top three female finishers. All proceeds directly benefit Kairos Outside of East Tennessee, which provides Christ-centered support and encouragement to women impacted by incarceration. The event is described as designed for all ages and fitness levels and includes opportunities for running, walking, and family participation.
