About the race
Gone Loco is scheduled for February 14. The event takes place along the Eureka Trail in Athens and is presented by Inspector Cluseau. The Eureka Trail was created from a rails to trails conversion and follows a former railroad bed. The surface is gravel, very flat, and described as 100% runnable.
The route winds southeast through woodlands, rural landscapes, and the community of Mashburn before ending at the outskirts of Englewood. The course for this event is a certified marathon course.
