Walk to Remember, Walk for Hope
The event is the 15th annual 5K walk and run organized by the Preble County Suicide Prevention Coalition in partnership with the Preble County Mental Health & Recovery Board. It takes place on September 12, 2026, with the start and finish at the Eaton High School entrance and a course that winds through Fort St. Clair Park. The venue address is Eaton High School Wellness Center, 600 Hillcrest Drive, Eaton, OH 45320.
The course distance is 3.1 miles. Pre-registration is available May 1 through August 15, 2026 for a fee of $20, which includes a t shirt while supplies last. Day of registration is available for $25. All proceeds support local suicide prevention programming and donations go toward suicide prevention and mental health initiatives in Preble County.
