ORRRC Sweetheart Shuffle 5k - Event details
The ORRRC Sweetheart Shuffle 5k is scheduled for February 15, 2026 in Eaton, Ohio at the Preble County YMCA, 450 Washington Jackson Rd. The event offers a 5k run and a timed 5k walking division; participants must designate runner or walker when registering.
The course is an out-and-back on roads in the YMCA area. Chip timing is used; participants who pre-register through RunSignup collect their timing chip at the green table at registration on race day. Minors may be pre-registered by a parent or guardian and must have a liability waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
Once registered individually for the 5k, two people may register as a casual two person team at the race. There are no team awards, but the top three combined times in any gender combination will be calculated after the race and published with the results.
Fees are waived for current ORRRC members when the RunSignup membership profile is used or proof of membership is shown. Non-members age 15 and up are charged $10, and ages 14 and under are free. Race day registration is available online and hard copy registration sheets are provided if needed.
Awards include overall male and female runner, overall walker, and top three in 10 year age groups. Volunteers support event operations and results publication. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
