Event Overview
The Walk Run or Roll 5K is an inaugural event held in Harrogate, Tennessee. The race takes place on the Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) campus and serves as a fundraiser to provide food relief for local families. The event offers three distinct registration options:
- 5K Race
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
- Virtual 5K
The 5K Race course starts at LMU park on Morris Lane. Participants proceed to Hamilton Way and continue through the LMU campus. This is an out-and-back route where runners reach a halfway point before returning along the same path toward the finish line. The 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk follows a similar out-and-back format.
Participant Amenities and Awards
Registered participants for the in-person events receive a custom event T-shirt. Those who register for the 5K Race or the Kids 1 mile Run are awarded a participation medal. In the 5K category, certificates or recognition are provided to the top three male and female finishers overall.
The course features water and aid stations at various points, including the halfway mark. Restrooms are situated near the splash pad and picnic area.
