Walk Run or Roll 5K
Walk Run or Roll 5K is an 80s-themed community running event held on the campus of LMU in Harrogate, Tennessee on 09/12/2026. The event offers in-person and virtual options and includes a short fun run recommended for younger participants.

- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk, registration fee $20
- Virtual 5K, registration fee $25
The 5K course starts on Morris Lane, proceeds along Hamilton Way through the LMU campus to a halfway turn and returns to the start/finish area. Restrooms are available next to the splash pad beside the picnic area. Aid and water stations are located along the course and at the halfway point. Parking is available next to the LMU tennis complex and at various spots around the park.
The 1 Mile Fun Run is recommended for kids 10 and under, and parents may assist child participants. All participants receive an 80s-themed event T-shirt; registrations completed before September 1 guarantee a shirt size. Runners in the 5K and the kids 1 mile receive participation medals. Awards recognize the top three male and female 5K finishers overall, age category winners, group awards, and a prize for the best 80s-inspired running outfit.
