Event overview
Walk, Run, Hike for Hospice takes place on May 9, 2026 at East Lake Regional Park in Airdrie, Alberta. The event raises funds and awareness for Airdrie and District Hospice Society to support its programs.
Participants may choose among multiple routes and attend with running mates, families, friends, children in strollers and dogs on leashes. The course is wheelchair accessible. A silent auction will direct proceeds to the hospice society.
The program features live country music by a local performer, a warm up session led by local entertainers, and pacing provided by Airdrie Awesome Walk and Run Club. Activities for children include bubbles and sidewalk chalk. Pre-registered participants receive a swag bag and a race bib.
