Wadebridge Triathlon | The Camel
Wadebridge Triathlon is a pool-based triathlon held at Wadebridge Leisure Centre (PL27 6BU) on 26 April 2026. The swim takes place in the leisure centre pool. The bike course follows rolling, undulating roads on generally quiet routes near the coast. The run descends toward Wadebridge town centre and continues along the Camel Trail beside the estuary toward Padstow. Junior events are scheduled on the same day.
Distances offered:
- Little Camel Super Sprint: 200m swim | 13.6k bike | 2.5k run
- Big Camel Sprint: 400m swim | 26k bike | 5k run
Race entries are part of the Cornish Tri Series scoring system, which uses a best-of-four results format and includes an additional volunteering requirement to qualify for overall series awards. Age group categories include Open (17-39 yrs), Vet (40-49 yrs), Super Vet (50-59 yrs), Vintage (60-69 yrs) and Super Vintage (70+). Event roles for volunteers cover setup, registration, marshaling, transition and finish area work; most roles are suitable from age 13 upwards. Volunteer rewards include event-entry credits for volunteers and credits for participants who bring a volunteer. All competitors receive a medal on completion.
