Waddesdon Manor 5K 22 July 2026
Waddesdon Manor 5K takes place at Waddesdon, HP18 0JH, and incorporates the Buckinghamshire Short Course Championships. The course starts next to the National Trust Visitors Car Park, runs to the Fountain at the top of the Hill, continues to the front of the Manor House and returns directly to the car park. The route is accurately measured and is marked every kilometre. Runners must follow instructions from race officials and keep to the left side of the course.
Race numbers are available for collection on the day at the entries desk and must be secured to the front of the running vest. Competitors should complete the back of their race number with their name, an emergency telephone contact and any medical information that would be needed if they become unwell. Participants who feel unwell beforehand are asked not to start.
Standard headphones are not permitted; bone conduction headphones are allowed so that runners can hear marshal instructions. If a competitor feels unwell during the race they should stop at a marshalling point so first aid can be requested. First aid cover is provided by ALR Training Ltd.
Prizes are awarded across multiple categories including the first five male and first five female finishers, club teams, various veteran age groups, junior and youth categories, a corporate team category with at least one female, and the first unattached runner. A course record bonus of £50 is offered for men at 15:15 and women at 16:57. Entry fees are £20 with a £2 discount for affiliated runners and an extra £2 for on the day entry.
