Waddesdon Manor 5K

The event on 22 July 2026 takes place at Waddesdon Manor, Waddesdon, and incorporates the Buckinghamshire Short Course Championships. The distance is a measured 5K course set around the National Trust visitors' car park and the front of the manor.

The course runs from the area adjacent to the visitors' car park to the fountain at the top of the hill, continues up to the front of the Manor House and returns directly to the car park. The route is accurately measured and will be marked every kilometre. Runners must follow instructions from race officials and keep to the left side of the course at all times.

Race numbers are available for collection on the day at the entries desk and must be secured to the front of the runner's vest. The back of the race number should be completed with the runner's name, an emergency telephone contact number and details of any medical condition that may need consideration. Runners who feel unwell before the event are advised not to start.

Use of standard headphones is not permitted; headphones using bone conduction technology are allowed. Runners must be able to hear instructions from marshals at all times. If a runner feels unwell during the race they should stop at a marshalling point so first aid can be requested. First aid cover is being provided by ALR Training Ltd.

Prize presentation will take place soon after the race. Prize categories include the first five males and first five females, club team awards for male and female teams, multiple veteran age-group winners, junior and youth categories, a corporate team category with team composition requirements, and a first unattached runner. A £50 course record bonus is listed for men 15.15 and women 16.57. Entry is £20 with a £2 discount for affiliated runners and an additional £2 for entries made on the day.
