Wabash Cannonball Trail running event at Keener Park
Toledo Road Runners Club organizes a trail running event at Keener Park in Monclova, Ohio. The course is accurately measured, described as fast and flat, and follows an out and back route along the Wabash Cannonball Trail, passing Weckerly Road on the westward leg.
Distances include:
- 5K measured, flat out and back along the Wabash Cannonball Trail.
- Kids 1K for age 12 and under; awards to all finishers.
Registration is online only. Registration opens June 7, 2026 and closes August 7, 2026. Fees are listed with TRRC member discounts applied at checkout: 5K costs $15 for non members and $9 for TRRC members; the Kids race is $5 for non members and free for TRRC members age 12 and under. Organizers note that arrangements to pay by check should be made at least ten days before the event.
Awards and giveaways are part of the event. Overall male and overall female awards are provided by Second Sole Running store. The first 110 registrants for the 5K receive a TRRC Cannonball Wabash giveaway prize. Additional giveaways will be drawn by bib number during the event. Danberry Realty is listed as a co sponsor.
