Voorheesville Memorial Day Races : 50th Anniversary
The Voorheesville Running and Cycling Club will conduct the 50th Anniversary Voorheesville Memorial Day Races on Saturday, May 23, 2026 in Voorheesville, New York. Racing has been part of Voorheesville’s Memorial Day Celebration since 1976.
The event program includes several race options and free children’s dashes. The free kid's dashes at Jim Nichols Park do not require registration and are for children from preschool through fifth grade. Distances and race types include:
- 15K
- 3.2K
- 30 to 50 yard kid dashes for preschool to 5th grade
Walkers may register and participate in the 3.2K race at no charge; walkers are not eligible for awards or gifts. Entry fees vary by race and age and change after an early registration deadline of May 2. For example, 15K fees are listed as $30 for ages 19 and up until May 2 and $35 after, with lower youth rates. The 3.2K has separate adult and youth fees with similar early and late pricing. A 50th Anniversary special offers 50 percent off the entry fee for the first 50 participants. Applicable discounts will be applied at checkout for qualifying registrants.
