Volta Internacional da Pampulha : event overview
The event is a road race of 18.079 m held in Belo Horizonte with arena, start and finish located at Av. Antônio Abrahão Caran x Av. Coronel Oscar Paschoal, next to the Estádio Governador Magalhães Pinto (Mineirão). The published course follows Av. Cel. Oscar Paschoal and Av. Otacílio Negrão de Lima around the Pampulha architectural complex and includes numbered kilometer points and aid stations along the route.
The race offers official infrastructure for registered athletes, including medical support, hydration, isotonic drink, and food at several postos de apoio, sanitary facilities and a guarded baggage area at the start/finish. Chip timing is provided on the race bib; athletes must keep the chip visible on the chest and follow the chip-use instructions in the regulations.
Registration is organized into categories: Elite A/B (male and female), Pelotão Premium, Pelotão Geral and Athletes with Disability, with specific rules, documentation and limits for some categories. Kit and chip pick-up are scheduled at Power Shopping Centerminas in Belo Horizonte on 3/12/2026, 4/12/2026 and 5/12/2026; no kit distribution occurs on the event day or after.
