The Vitality London 10,000 takes place on 27 September 2026 in central London. The event is organised by London Marathon Events and uses The Mall as the start area with the finish in front of Buckingham Palace.
The race is a point to point 10 km on closed roads with a flat elevation profile. The route travels through central London and passes a number of well known landmarks, including Admiralty Arch, Nelson's Column, St Paul’s Cathedral, Mansion House, the Bank of England, the Old Bailey, Somerset House, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, and Westminster Abbey.
Logistics include a fully marked and marshalled route and event packs that are posted to participants. All runners must be aged 15 or over. The event offers optional items such as a finisher's medal and an event T shirt. A post race Vitality Wellness Festival takes place in Green Park. A hospitality entry option provides bag drop, breakfast before the race, and access to a hospitality space next to the finish with food and drinks. Driving to the event is strongly discouraged and nearby public transport stations include Green Park, Hyde Park Corner, Piccadilly Circus, Charing Cross and Victoria.
