Vitality London 10,000 is a city road race of 10 km held at Pall Mall in London SW1. The route is described as fast and flat, offers views of central London and finishes outside Buckingham Palace.
The event is organised by Breakthrough T1D UK as a charity place option. The registration fee for a charity place is £25 and the minimum fundraising target is £200. Funds raised are allocated to research into type 1 diabetes and to ongoing support for people affected by the condition.
Registered charity participants receive fundraising materials and ongoing support from the organiser’s Events Team, plus regular newsletters with training and fundraising guidance. A Breakthrough T1D running vest is provided after a participant has raised £100 towards their target; vests are usually sent one to two months before the event. Cheering materials for family and friends are also supplied.
