Virginia Brain Tumor Walk & Race : Bryan Park, Richmond
The Virginia Brain Tumor Walk & Race is scheduled for October 25, 2026 at Bryan Park, 4308 Hermitage Road, Richmond, VA 23227. The event is a 5K walk and run (3.1 mi) that raises awareness and funds to support the needs of patients with brain tumors and their families. It is open to participants of all ages.
The day includes registration and check in, an intimate remembrance ceremony to honor loved ones who have passed, an opening program that includes a survivor tribute, a pre-5K warm up, the 5K race, and a closing ceremony with runner awards. Awards will be presented in categories for top adult male, female and non-binary runners, top youth runners, and top survivor runners. Activity tents, a Kids Tent, light refreshments and water will be available during the morning.
Registration options include adult walker and runner categories, youth categories for ages 12 and under, a virtual participation option, and volunteer roles. In-person registrants who register before September 25, 2026 may receive an event t-shirt; t-shirts are not guaranteed for late registrants. Virtual participants who raise at least $75 by September 25, 2026 may receive a mailed event t-shirt. Registration fees are listed by category and a volunteer option is available at no charge.
On-site parking is available at Bryan Park with directional signage and parking attendants. An Honor and Celebrate Tent will accept photo and memento submissions on event day and materials to post will be provided. A 5K course map is provided by the organizers.
