Virginia Brain Tumor Walk & Race
The Virginia Brain Tumor Walk & Race takes place on October 25, 2026 at Bryan Park in Richmond, VA and features a 5K (3.1 mi) walk/run. The event brings the local brain tumor community together to raise awareness and funds to support patients and their families.
The day includes an intimate remembrance ceremony, an opening program that honors survivors, the timed race, and a closing ceremony with runner awards. Awards will recognize the top three adult male, female and non-binary runners, the top three youth runners, and the top three survivor runners.
On site there are activity tents and sponsor displays, a Kids Tent with activities, light refreshments and water. The Honor and Celebrate Tent is available for submissions such as photos, letters, poems, essays and mementos to honor or remember loved ones. On-site parking is available at Bryan Park with event directional signage and parking attendants.
Registration options include in-person adult and youth categories and a virtual participation option. In-person participants who register prior to September 25, 2026 may be eligible for an event t-shirt; t-shirts are not guaranteed to late registrants. Virtual registration is free and virtual participants who raise at least $75 by September 25, 2026 will receive mailed event t-shirts.
