Virginia Brain Tumor Walk & Race - October 25, 2026
The Virginia Brain Tumor Walk & Race is a community 5K walk and run held at Bryan Park, 4308 Hermitage Road, Richmond, VA 23227. The event raises awareness and funds to support the needs of patients with brain tumors and their families. It is presented as a family friendly morning with activities for all ages.
The event day includes registration and check in, an intimate remembrance ceremony to honor loved ones who have passed, an opening program that includes a survivor tribute, the 5K race, and a closing ceremony with runner awards. Award categories include top three adult male, female and non binary runners, top three youth runners, and top three survivor runners. Activity tents and sponsor booths will be available, along with a Kids Tent, light refreshments, and water. The event will proceed rain or shine.
Registration options include adult and youth walker and runner categories and a virtual participation option. In-person registrants who register prior to September 25, 2026 may receive an event t shirt; t shirts are not guaranteed to late registrants. Virtual participants who raise at least $75 by September 25, 2026 will receive an event t shirt by event day. Registration fees increase one month before the event and during event week.
Volunteers, including groups, schools and individuals, are welcome. On site parking is available at Bryan Park with attendants. A 5K course map is provided for the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
