Violence Free Community Run
The Violence Free Community Run takes place in Kenai on August 8, 2026 and is the 37th edition of the event. It features certified road races on a paved, multi-loop course that runs through downtown Kenai and is wheelchair accessible.
The start and finish line are located at the Kenai Park Strip on Main Street Loop, across from First National Bank Alaska. Parking is provided at the Old Carrs Mall; there is no street parking.

- 5K certified course on a paved, multi-loop downtown route
- 10K certified course on a paved, multi-loop downtown route
Bibs may be picked up the day before or on the morning of the event. The registration fee covers a swag bag and a tee shirt. Funds raised beyond the cost of hosting the run are directed to client services. Check-in is available on race day at the Park Strip, and a group stretch and warm-up will be held at the park.
