Course, entry and rules
The 5K route is described as flat and follows city trails, enters a park, passes a former wetlands area, and offers views of Utah Lake. Strollers are allowed in both races, but children in strollers cannot win top overall awards or age-division medals in the 5K. If a parent or guardian runs with a child in the Kids 1K, only the child needs to be registered.
Entry fees listed are $25 for the 5K and $10 for the Kids 1K. Household and group discount options are offered: a household rate for 3-8 people for $55 total, and a group rate of $20 per person for groups of 5+ not all in the same household; race shirts cost an additional $12 each if requested.
Awards include gift cards for top overall finishers, participation medals for all finishers, and top-three medals by gender in each 5K age division.
