Event Overview
The Vineyard City Gold Rush 5K & Kids 1K is a road race scheduled for March 21, 2026, at Grove Park in Vineyard, Utah. The event includes a chip-timed 5K and a Kids 1K.
Course and Features
The 5K route is described as offering a trail view of Utah Lake. A unique feature is the opportunity for participants to receive a real Golden Dollar coin if they beat a designated "race Leprechaun."
Distances and Registration
- 5K: Standard registration price is $25.
- Kids 1K: Open to ages 1–12, with a standard price of $10.
Discounts
Several discount options are available. A household rate of $55 is offered for 3–8 people living together. For groups of 5 or more not in the same household registering for the 5K, the per-person cost is $20. These group rates do not include race shirts, which can be added for an additional $12 each. A series discount is also offered for participating in other Vineyard City races.
Awards and Prizes
All finishers in both distances receive a participation medal. Top overall male and female finishers in the 5K win a $50 gift card, while top finishers in the Kids 1K win a $25 gift card. The top three male and female finishers in each age division for the 5K receive a winner's medal. Registrants who sign up before noon on March 17, 2026, are entered into a raffle for local gift cards.
Policies and Other Information
Strollers are permitted in both races. Registration for a race shirt may not be guaranteed for entries after February 18, 2026.
