Vineyard City Gold Rush 5K & Kids 1K
The Vineyard City Gold Rush events take place on March 21, 2026 at Grove Park in Vineyard, Utah. The program includes a 5K and a Kids 1K. The 5K course is chip timed and follows a route that provides trail views of Utah Lake. The 5K also offers the opportunity to receive a real Golden Dollar coin for participants who beat a designated race Leprechaun.
Entry fees listed for the events are $25 for the 5K and $10 for the Kids 1K. Registration for the 5K closes March 20, 2026; registration for the Kids 1K closes March 16, 2026. A household discount is available: a single fee of $55 for 3 to 8 people living in the same household, with race shirts available for an additional $12 each. A group rate of $20 per person applies to groups of five or more not all in the same household; shirts are an extra $12 each. Discounted series pricing is offered for participation in multiple Vineyard City races; a coupon code is required to receive that pricing.
Awards include $50 gift cards for top overall female and male in the 5K and $25 gift cards for top overall female and male in the Kids 1K. All finishers receive a participation medal; top three female and male finishers in each 5K age division receive winners medals. Registrants who register by March 17, 2026 are entered into a race raffle. Strollers are permitted, though children in strollers are not eligible for top overall or age division awards. Persons registering after February 28, 2026 cannot purchase race shirts. The event's cancellation policy allows transfers or full registration refunds minus transaction fees up to three weeks before race day; within three weeks no refunds or transfers are allowed.
