Event overview
The Vineyard City Gold Rush consists of two races on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Grove Park, 350 N 100 E, Vineyard, UT 84059. The events are:
- 5K
- Kids 1K
The 5K course is chip-timed and the route includes a trail view of Utah Lake. Finishers in both races receive a participation medal. Strollers are permitted in each race; children in a stroller are not eligible for the top overall awards or age division medals.
Registration, awards and policies
Standard entry fees listed are $25 for the 5K and $10 for the Kids 1K. Household and group discounts are available: a flat $55 fee for households of 3-8 registrants (race shirts extra at $12 each), and a $20 per person rate for groups of 5+ registering together for the 5K (race shirts extra at $12 each). Multi-race pricing is offered for the Vineyard City race series: $80 for the 5K series and $28 for the 1K series. Race shirts are not available for registrants after February 28, 2026.
Top overall male and female 5K finishers receive a $50 gift card; top overall male and female Kids 1K finishers receive a $25 gift card. Top three male and female finishers in each 5K age division receive winners medals. Age divisions for the 5K are Under 14, 14-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. The Kids 1K age division is under 12. Registrants who sign up by March 17, 2026 are entered in a race raffle. Up until three weeks before race day, transfers or a full refund (minus transaction fees) are allowed; within three weeks no refunds or transfers are allowed.
