The Vineyard City Gold Rush 5K & Kids 1K takes place on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Grove Park, 350 N 100 E, Vineyard, UT 84059. The event includes the following distances:

The 5K course is chip-timed and follows a route that includes a trail view of Utah Lake. The 5K also offers the opportunity to receive a real Golden Dollar coin for beating the race Leprechaun. Strollers are allowed in both races; children in strollers are not eligible for top overall or age-division awards.
Entry, awards and policies
Standard entry fees listed are $25 for the 5K and $10 for the Kids 1K. Registration deadlines are March 20, 2026 for the 5K and March 16, 2026 for the Kids 1K; limited entry spots are noted. Household and group discounts are available: a household rate for 3-8 people is $55 (shirts extra), and a group rate for 5+ people is $20 per person (shirts extra). Multi-race pricing is offered for participating in all Vineyard City 5K or 1K series events. Race shirts cannot be purchased for registrations completed after February 28, 2026.
Top overall male and female 5K finishers receive a $50 gift card; top overall male and female Kids 1K finishers receive a $25 gift card. All finishers receive a participation medal; top three finishers in each 5K age division receive winners medals. Registrants who register before 12:00 PM on March 17, 2026 will be entered in a race raffle. Cancellation policy: up until three weeks before race day, transfers or a full refund (minus transaction fees) are allowed; within three weeks no refunds or transfers are allowed.
