About the race
Vinberige Vineyards Wine Run Turkey Trot 5k is held at Vinberige Vineyards in Thornville, Ohio (5400 State Route 204). The Thanksgiving-themed cross-country 5k invites both runners and walkers to traverse a scenic winery course with uneven footing and two hills, starting and finishing at the winery. It is a timed race with chip timing; results are posted online after the event.
Registration includes a soft T-shirt, a shatterproof wine glass, a wine-glass-shaped finisher medal, a race bib, and a pour of wine. Free race photos are available and a portion of proceeds supports The Hopewell Township Fire Department. Day-of packet pickup is offered, and virtual participation is available.
