Viking Relays & Races

The Viking Relays & Races takes place on Saturday, November 7, 2026. The event is held at South Mastick Park, specifically at the Cottonwood Picnic Pavilion within the Rocky River Reservation in Cleveland, Ohio.

The event consists of several running formats:

4 Hour Run (individual event)
4 Hour Relay (team event)
2 Hour Run (individual event)
4 Mile Relay (team event)
4 Mile Run (individual event)

Courses use a 2-mile loop on both pavement and dirt trail surfaces. For the timed events (2-Hour and 4-Hour runs), participants can complete as many laps as possible within the allocated time. For the fixed-distance events, the 4 Mile Relay has each runner complete one 2-mile loop, while the 4 Mile Run requires runners to complete two loops.

Dogs and strollers are not permitted on the course. Awards are scheduled for 11:00 AM. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
