Viking Fest Road Race : Poulsbo, Washington
The Viking Fest Road Race takes place in Historic Downtown Poulsbo from May 1 to May 16, 2026. The event is hosted by Poulsbo Parks and Recreation and functions as a community fundraiser supporting more than 1,200 local programs.
Proceeds fund local recreation and cultural activities, including free senior fitness classes, adaptive trikes for inclusive mobility, youth sports, arts and culture programming, community events such as a summer concert series and seasonal celebrations, and improvements to parks and trails. All registration revenue remains within Poulsbo to support these services.
Race options include multiple in-person and virtual formats:
- 5 Mile run along Poulsbo waterfront.
- 1 Mile run along Poulsbo waterfront.
- Virtual 5K completed May 1 to May 15 in any location or format.
Fees and related pricing information are provided by the organizer. Early registration prices apply through April 14, after which fees increase. A race shirt and a virtual race medal are offered for an additional fee or as noted by the organizer. The virtual option allows walking, running, biking, or swimming to complete the distance and includes a medal with local pickup dates specified by the organizer.
