Vidalia Onion Run - April 25, 2026
The Vidalia Onion Run takes place in Vidalia, Georgia, with the start and finish area at the First Baptist Church Vidalia parking lot, 107 E 2nd St., Vidalia, GA 30474. The event includes multiple distances and offers chip timing for the 5k and 10k races. Course maps are provided by the organizers and on the event Facebook page. The 5k and 10k courses are marked with paint, signs, and traffic cones.

Water, aid stations, and portable restrooms are available along the 5k and 10k courses. Fruit and beverages, including water and electrolyte drinks, are provided at the finish area. Timers will be stationed along the 5k and 10k courses. Runners who register for the 5k or 10k may also participate in the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk at no extra fee.
Awards include overall top three female and male placings in the 1 mile, 5k, and 10k, plus top three female and male finishers in standard age divisions for the 5k and 10k. Cash prizes are offered for breaking course records in the 1 mile, 5k, and 10k. Packet pickup is available before race day and packets will also be distributed on race morning near 101 E. 1st Street in downtown Vidalia. The event is a fundraiser for the Kiwanis Club of Vidalia and is sanctioned by the Vidalia Onion Festival. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
