Victoria Donut Mile
Victoria Donut Mile takes place at Oak Bay Track in Oak Bay, British Columbia, on June 12, 2026. The format pairs track laps with donut eating: before each lap participants eat a donut, then run the lap, repeating according to the chosen format.
Available formats include:
- Donut Mile - 4 donuts, 4 laps.
- Quarter Donut Mile (Donut Hole Mile) - 1 donut split into 4 pieces, 4 laps.
- Donut Relay - teams of 2 to 4, 4 donuts, 4 laps.
- Kids Donut Lap - 1 lap, 1 donut.
Donuts are provided by Sidney Bakery and Fern Cafe & Bakery, with limited vegan options. Organizers state that all proceeds go to Buddy Check For Jesse and indicate a fundraising target for the year. Past editions have raised funds for other organizations: CA$1,700 in year one for Canucks Autism Network and CA$2,000 in year two for KidSport Greater Victoria.
Costumes are encouraged and prizes will be awarded for best costume in each division. On will be on site with demo shoes available, including the Cloudmonster 3 and Cloudrunner 3. A detailed event schedule will be released about two weeks before the event; the kids race will open the day, followed by multiple heats.
